Wendigo Psychosis

The gf was talking ‘bout Wendigos yesterday. She’s revisiting Pet Sematary (the book) after I kept watching the movie adaption over and over again sometime last week.

So yeah, I got around to drawing one this afternoon. Love drawing big creatures and creepy things. Especially malevolent cannibalistic creatures.

Created using UNI POSCA pens, indian ink, pen and white card whilst listening to Fang Island’s self-titled debut. Seriously, check that album out. It’s incredible.

It's been an odd few days. It looks like I've lost my job, which is filling me with dread but oddly enough I feel kinda liberated too. Think I'll use this as an opportunity to try selling some art and set up that website. So, scary but also exciting times.

And on the art front (sorry it's been so long) I'm taking part in rllmuk's sketchbook exchange, part 2. Theme for my book this year is 'creatures and calamities'.
